Returns Policy :

UMSAS offers a 7 days return policy against refund or replacement within a 7 days return window.

1. It is to be noted that return policies may varies across products/product categories.

2. Please note that a return is made only in case- If the products is delivered in damaged condition Or If the wrong product is delivered or if the product is found to have a defect or any concerns about the quality of the product.

3. In case you want to return any item, you are requested to contact us and we might do any of the following as per your advice:

            a. You can send back the item immediately of its receipt. Upon safe arrival of the item, a refund will be issued for the cost of the item after deducting the shipment charges.
             We can resend the items back to you without any additional cost. No refund will be made for the courier expenses.

            b. Important: UMSAS would not be responsible for items being returned by you that are lost in the mail while in the processing of returning.

            c. Therefore, please ensure safe and secure delivery of the returned item to us. For any further assistance, please contact us through e-mail or through phone.

In case if you do not like the product which you received from, you can send us back the item you have purchased in its original condition and pack within 7 days. Please note that we are not accepting any returns for stitched clothing.

We will issue 100% refund of product price.

Customer need to first contact us through Contact us page on web site before returning any product. If you will return the products before let us know the same, then we will not provide any refund.

Customer need to bare the shipping cost while returning the products.

  • We will not refund the customs duties or taxes, if applicable, or paid by you at time of receiving the goods.
  • At any point of time the refunds will not exceed the actual value of the goods.
  • Refunds would not be accepted for custom made / stitched clothing, including ready-made stitched sarees or sarees stitched with custom blouse. However we would accept returns if there is any faults from our end.
  • Any complaint with regards to the damage or stains or stitching or any other should be reported to us within 24 hrs. of the receipt of the products. We may ask for digital picture/video of the same in order to review the same.
  • We will not entertain any return request after 48 hours of the item received.
  • In case of product return, we will issue refund once we received the product back at our office.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
